The province of Nador has witnessed the actual commencement of construction work on the Grand Stadium, after the installation of identification signs and engineering designs on the fence surrounding the land allocated for this strategic sports project.
This field step confirms the imminent activation of the project on the ground, enhancing the developmental dynamism in the region's sports infrastructure in anticipation of major upcoming football events.
An estimated total budget of 358 million dirhams has been allocated for the project, which is expected to be completed with modern technical specifications, aligning it with international standards.
The capacity of this sports edifice will be around 20,000 spectators in a fully covered facility, which will provide the province with a modern football facade befitting the scale of future events.
In addition to the main stadium, the general design includes integrated facilities such as training pitches designed according to the latest standards, opening the door to the possibility of attracting one of the international teams participating in the 2030 World Cup finals to conduct their training sessions there.
These ancillary facilities will constitute a qualitative addition to the national sports infrastructure in the Eastern region.
Strict measures are enforced in the vicinity of the works, prohibiting photography or documenting the stages of work for organizational reasons, which adds an element of field secrecy to the details of the work process during this preliminary phase.
Despite this, logistical preparations are continuing at a steady pace to ensure adherence to the project's specified timeline.
The people of Nador are eagerly awaiting the completion of this sports landmark, which is expected to become a vital hub capable of hosting major continental and international competitions.
