A poll conducted by the "Arab Barometer" in 2025 showed that 47 percent of Moroccans believe that men are better than women in political leadership, a decrease of ten percentage points compared to the results of the 2023-2024 poll.
The "Arab Barometer" re-published the poll results on Thursday, on the occasion of King Mohammed VI's appointment of Fatima Ezzahra Mansouri, leader of the Authenticity and Modernity Party, which topped the legislative elections, as Prime Minister.
The results of the ninth round of the poll recorded a decline in support for giving men the final say in family decisions to 44 percent, a decrease of 17 percentage points, while 64 percent supported equal opportunities for women and men in the workplace, the same percentage recorded in the previous poll.
The poll included 1210 Moroccan citizens from the twelve regions of the Kingdom, and its face-to-face interviews were conducted during the period from August 23 to September 6, 2025, with a margin of error of three percentage points.
