Police elements from the 16 Al-Saada security district, last night, Monday, managed to arrest a person red-handed stealing a sum of money and a computer from inside a car parked in the private garage of the "Marjane" commercial market on the Casablanca road.
The arrest came after the suspect carried out the theft from inside the car, and he was then surrounded by the car owner and several citizens who contacted the police elements.
Initial investigation and search procedures carried out by the elements of the 16th security district resulted in the discovery of checkbooks and identity documents belonging to other victims, as well as the recovery of two computers that the suspect had concealed inside the aforementioned garage after stealing them in a previous operation.
The suspect was referred to the judicial police services, under a reference procedure, to deepen the judicial investigation under the supervision of the competent Public Prosecution, to uncover all potential ramifications of these criminal acts before presenting him before justice.
