HIBAPRESS – Sidi Allal El Bahraoui
The Al-Munzah neighborhood in the city of Sidi Allal El Bahraoui, affiliated with the Khémisset province, was shaken the evening before last by physical assault incidents that resulted in two minor youths (aged between 16 and 17) sustaining injuries of varying severity, who were subsequently transported to receive necessary treatment.
According to information obtained by HIBAPRESS from the accounts of the victims' families, the details of the incident date back to when the two minor youths, residents of the Al-Saada neighborhood in the same city, were on a routine outing in Al-Munzah neighborhood between approximately 8 and 9 PM.
According to what the victims conveyed to their families, the events began with skirmishes following an attempt to snatch one of their hats, before things escalated into friction and an attack in which a group of young people participated. The victims estimated their number to be around 16 people, according to the account of the victims' guardians.
This incident resulted in the two minor youths sustaining severe injuries, including serious fractures to the skull and around the eye for one of them – who will undergo a delicate surgical operation – and fractures to the nose for his companion.
In the security context, upon being notified of the incident, the Royal Gendarmerie services of the Sidi Allal El Bahraoui brigade immediately commenced their field investigations and inquiries in coordination with the competent public prosecution. These investigations led to the arrest of three individuals suspected of involvement in this assault, who were placed under police custody pending judicial investigation.
The investigation remains ongoing to clarify all circumstances and objectively determine responsibilities. All suspected parties are presumed innocent until proven guilty by the judiciary, pending the outcomes of the investigations to inform public opinion and reveal the circumstances of the incident with complete neutrality and integrity.
