Al Hoceima – Al Hoceima Theater Club continues its presence on the national theatrical scene by presenting its new play "Order / Adaɛthiɣ," which the troupe has chosen to launch from the city of Al Hoceima. The premiere is scheduled for Thursday, September 17, 2026, at 7:30 PM (19:30), in the performance hall at the Prince Moulay Hassan House of Culture.

This work comes as part of a project to produce and promote theatrical works, benefiting from the support of the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication – Department of Culture – for the first cycle of 2026. It represents a new milestone in the troupe's journey, as they continue to work on professional theater, with a special focus on the Amazigh language and culture.

The play "Order / Adaɛthiɣ" is written by Ahmed Al-Sbiaa and directed and designed by Youssef Al-Arkoubi, while the roles are performed by Huda Abir and Mohamed Bensaïd. A technical and artistic team is involved in the production, including Abdel Samad Al-Dahmani for scenography execution, Hadoush Boutzkent for lighting, and Aziz Al-Baqali for music preparation and execution. Rifaat Blouut is responsible for communication and production management, and Nabil Belhaj for general supervision.

The play opens onto the world of a couple living in a closed domestic space, where memories, daily situations, and conflicts intertwine. The details of their shared life transform into a mirror of a fragile human relationship. External appearance and the gaze of the other constitute one of the central symbolic themes in the work, which touches upon issues related to self-image, self-confidence, and the search for social acceptance.

On an aesthetic level, the performance adopts a directorial vision that blends realism and grotesquerie, utilizing the mechanisms of black comedy. This is achieved through building a series of opposing dualities, such as the self and the other, inside and outside, ugliness and beauty, and past and present. The scenographic dimension, lighting, and music are also present as essential components in shaping the theatrical image and the rhythm of the performance.

The production team chose to present the play in the Amazigh language (Tamazight), which gives it an extension within its cultural and linguistic environment. This allows for the utilization of the potentials of irony, humor, and dramatic expression that the language abounds in, in service of the theatrical construction.

Following its premiere in Al Hoceima, the Al Hoceima Theater Club intends to continue presenting and promoting the work through other performances in several Moroccan cities, including Imzouren, El Hajeb, and Taza. This is part of their endeavor to expand the reach of the work to the public and strengthen the presence of theater originating from the Rif region within the national theatrical scene.

Through "Order / Adaɛthiɣ," Al Hoceima Theater Club continues its commitment to producing works that combine the Amazigh language, contemporary artistic practice, and human themes, while engaging with various national theatrical spaces and events.
