A residential complex in the new city of Salé witnessed an incident that caused fear among a number of residents, after a person threatened some of the complex's inhabitants and caused material damage to their property.
According to the same sources, the individual in question became agitated before uttering insults, slander, and threats to a number of residents, using a cold weapon and a wooden pole, in a scene that necessitated the intervention of security services.
The suspect, according to what is attributed to him, also vandalized the residence's door, causing material damage to it, before security forces from the Salé Al Jadida security district intervened and managed to arrest him.
After being taken to the security district headquarters to complete legal procedures, the detainee assaulted a resident of the complex while being questioned, in the presence of security personnel.
Disseminated information indicated that the surveillance camera installed inside the Salé Al Jadida security district headquarters documented the details of the incident, which is expected to be the subject of investigations and legal proceedings initiated by the competent authorities.
