Karim Achankli, the regional coordinator of the National Rally of Independents (RNI) in the Souss-Massa region, confirmed that the party is contesting the upcoming elections with the aim of topping the September 23 elections, stressing that the RNI is an organized, strong party, present on the ground, and capable of continuing to bear responsibility.
During a large solidarity meeting organized by the party this Thursday in the city of Oulad Teima, in the Taroudant province, in the presence of the Head of Government and prominent RNI leader Aziz Akhannouch, Achankli said that "our symbol is the dove and our goal is the lead."
Achankli explained that the large turnout at this meeting is not merely an electoral stop, but rather sends a clear message about the strength of the RNI's organization and its presence on the ground, stressing that the party continues to mobilize and communicate directly with citizens in various areas of the Souss-Massa region. He added that all RNI candidates contesting the elections in the Taroudant province and the region are sons of the region and are closely aware of the local population's concerns and expectations.
The regional coordinator emphasized that elections require work and mobilization, not just talk and posturing, highlighting that the National Rally of Independents party has not shirked responsibility. In this context, he recalled a number of initiatives launched by the government, particularly strengthening the pillars of the social state, generalizing health coverage, and activating direct social support, in addition to reforming the health and education sectors, putting the new investment charter into effect, and launching a number of structural projects related to water.
Speaking about the Souss-Massa region, Achankli pointed out that the region comprises 174 local authorities, which is accompanied by a multiplicity of expectations. He explained that limited resources have not prevented the coordination of efforts and work to achieve development in various areas of the region. He considered that the implementation of integrated territorial development programs constitutes a lever for promoting development and responding to the expectations of citizens in various territorial areas, especially in the Souss-Massa region.
