HIBAPRESS – Salé
In a number of neighborhoods in the city of Salé, coinciding with the election campaign, there is an increasing spread of campaign flyers for a number of candidates, a scene that has become noticeable in a group of streets and alleys.
Some candidate supporters, during the distribution of election flyers, intentionally leave a number of them in the streets or throw them away after finishing their distribution. This leads to the spread of promotional papers in public spaces and increases the volume of waste that sanitation workers have to collect.
This situation imposes additional difficulties on sanitation workers, who continue their daily work to clean the city's streets and neighborhoods and collect various types of waste.
This phenomenon is more evident in a number of main streets and neighborhoods that witness gatherings of citizens, where flyers are continuously distributed to reach the largest possible number of voters. This increases the difficulties for sanitation workers, whose work doubles during this period while their wages remain stable.
