The election campaign in the province of Al Hoceima has entered a decisive phase, with the legislative election scheduled for September 23rd drawing near, amidst intensive field movements by the various competing parties for the four parliamentary seats allocated to the constituency.
According to indicators of field presence in recent days, the Independence Party has not managed, at this stage of the campaign, to demonstrate the same level of dynamism seen among a number of its rivals, while the Popular Movement Party, the Authenticity and Modernity Party, and the National Rally of Independents have intensified their communication outreach in several communes and areas of the province.
"The Ear of Corn", "The Tractor", and "The Dove" are conspicuously prominent in the field scene, through organizing meetings, communication tours, and successive electoral stops, in an attempt to win over voters, explain electoral programs, and interact directly with the expectations of the residents.
In this context, the Authenticity and Modernity Party, led by its list's agent Mohamed Hammouti, continued its field movements, with one of its recent tours covering the communes of Beni Hudhayfah, Ait Qamra, and Beni Abdullah, focusing on direct communication with citizens.
This activity comes in an electoral constituency that witnessed significant shifts in the balance of power in previous elections, after the Independence Party topped the results of the 2021 elections, and the National Rally of Independents, the Authenticity and Modernity Party, and the Popular Movement Party secured the remaining seats, while the map subsequently changed due to partial elections.
As the campaign enters its final days, field indicators remain only an initial reading of the volume of presence and mobilization, awaiting what the ballot boxes will reveal on September 23rd.
