Aziz Akhannouch, the Head of Government and member of the Political Bureau of the National Rally of Independents (RNI) party, stated in a speech delivered to thousands of militants and citizens in the city of Tetouan on Sunday that political opponents have proven their discourse to be contradictory to the reality on the ground and the aspirations of the Moroccan street.
Akhannouch refuted the speeches of the opposition and rivals, whom he described as "صحاب الوعود المتناقضة" (those with contradictory promises), using a clear sporting expression: "We thought they would bring an avant-centre, but they ended up with defenders and goalkeepers." He emphasized that loyalty and serious field work are the true criteria for the success of political action and direct communication with citizens.
