The commune of Ourika in the Al Haouz province witnessed an alert among the authorities a short while ago this Tuesday afternoon, after the discovery of the body of a young man near the Ourika Valley riverbed, under circumstances still under investigation.
According to the newspaper's sources, the body was discovered by a citizen who quickly informed the authorities. Royal Gendarmerie and Civil Protection elements were dispatched, and an investigation has been opened to determine the circumstances of the incident.
Under instructions from the competent public prosecution, the young man's body was transferred to the morgue at the regional hospital in Tahnaout for a medical autopsy to ascertain the true causes of death.
