HIBAPRESS – Rabat
Party headquarters and candidates are experiencing a state of anticipation this Wednesday evening, coinciding with the start of vote counting operations after polling stations closed for the legislative elections, as all eyes turn to the initial data coming from various polling stations.
Phones have become a central focus within several electoral headquarters, with continuous calls and messages between candidates and their representatives, awaiting the arrival of polling station records that include the results registered at each station.
Campaign managers are following the process of compiling data from their representatives, attempting to form an initial picture of the trend of the results, while many candidates prefer to wait for the official records before announcing any data or positions regarding their outcomes.
Meanwhile, sorting and counting operations continue at various polling stations, and the results will be compiled according to the established procedures, before the official results of the legislative elections are announced.
