The final results of the legislative elections in the Mohammedia constituency showed that Hicham Ait Mana, a candidate for the National Rally of Independents party, won the third seat, after a strong competition with Amin El Attouani, a candidate for the Authenticity and Modernity Party, after the completion of the counting process.
Ait Mana secured the seat by a narrow margin over his rival El Attouani, as the final counting results showed his lead in the number of votes, thus booking the third seat allocated to the Mohammedia constituency, alongside Said Tadlaoui of the Independence Party, while the second seat went to a candidate from the Justice and Development Party.
This result comes after hours of anticipation within the Mohammedia constituency, where the competition for the third seat remained open until the final data from a number of polling stations and the compilation of minutes were revealed.
