The Royal Gendarmerie elements at the Droua territorial center, affiliated with the Berchid squadron and the regional command of Settat, apprehended an individual who was the subject of national search warrants in various criminal cases, at the level of Al-Wafaa residential complex.
According to the available data, the apprehended person was wanted under approximately 250 national search warrants issued by judicial police services in various regions of the Kingdom, on suspicion of involvement in multiple cases, including cases related to the trafficking of different types of drugs.
The apprehension of the suspect came after setting up a security ambush that enabled the Gendarmerie elements to locate and apprehend him. A four-wheel drive vehicle in his possession was also seized, which is suspected of being used in some of the acts attributed to him.
Under instructions from the competent public prosecution at the Court of First Instance in Berchid, the individual was placed under police custody, pending the completion of the necessary investigations and inquiries before being presented to the public prosecution to take the appropriate legal measures.
