The "Marsa Maroc" group recorded a qualitative leap in its financial and investment indicators during the first half of 2026, benefiting from the dynamic expansion of its port activities and the inauguration of major strategic projects that have given a strong boost to its growth path.
On the financial level, the group announced achieving a consolidated turnover of 3.214 billion dirhams, marking an annual growth of 13%, while the gross operating surplus jumped by 20% to reach 1.873 billion dirhams compared to the same period last year.
This distinguished financial performance was accompanied by the group's allocation of huge investments totaling 3.4 billion dirhams, the largest portion of which was dedicated to developing port infrastructure and acquiring modern equipment for the new terminals at the Nador West Med port.
As part of strengthening its international partnerships, "Marsa Maroc" completed the entry of "Terminal Investment Limited" as a strategic partner in the capital of "West Med Container Terminal" (WMCT) with a 50% stake minus one share, after obtaining all the necessary regulatory licenses to manage the eastern container terminal at the aforementioned port.
On the operational level, the group succeeded in handling 34.5 million tons of goods during the first half, achieving an increase of 3% compared to 2025, mainly supported by the remarkable growth in local container traffic and the rise in bulk cargo flows of both solid and liquid types.
