HIBAPRESS – A. Sayyad
Moroccan artist Hamza Fadli reacted to the appointment of Fatima Ezzahra Mansouri as Head of Government, a step he considered symbolically significant, as she is the first woman to hold this position in Morocco.
Fadli expressed, in a post on his Instagram account, his hope that the arrival of a woman as head of government will mark a new phase towards further progress in women's rights and the promotion of equality between men and women in rights and duties. He also touched on the concept of equality in general, pointing out that rights and duties, as he expressed, should not be linked to wealth or poverty, nor to level of knowledge or fame, but rather to the individual's behavior and values as a human being and a citizen. Hamza Fadli wrote in his post: "Rights and duties should never depend on our wealth or poverty, our knowledge or ignorance, our fame or infamy, but simply on what we are: good or corrupt humans, good or corrupt citizens."
