HIBAPRESS – Abdelatif Barka
Najat Anwar, president of the "Don't Touch My Child" organization, considered that the arrival of a woman for the first time in the history of Morocco to the head of government constitutes a significant milestone for Moroccan women, but also for our daughters and future generations.
She affirmed that the sight of a Moroccan girl seeing a woman assume the highest governmental responsibility in her country will broaden her horizons of possibility and assure her that ambition, responsibility, and participation in public affairs are not exclusive to men.
The president of the "Don't Touch My Child" organization explained that the organization, as it is concerned with child rights, looks forward to childhood issues and their protection from violence and exploitation, alongside supporting children in vulnerable situations, holding a fundamental position within the public policies of the next government.
Najat Anwar expressed her wishes for Fatima Ezzahra Mansouri success in her new responsibility, emphasizing the organization's aspiration for a stage where the protection of women's and children's rights is strengthened, and equal opportunities are available to all sons and daughters of Morocco.
She stressed that this stage carries, for the organization, hope for continued strengthening of the position of women and the protection of children's rights, thereby opening wider horizons for future generations.
