The Amrabten region, affiliated with the Beni Hodeifa commune in the Al Hoceima province, recently witnessed the tragic death of a man in his sixties, who lived alone, before he was found dead in his home.
According to available information, the incident was discovered and the relevant authorities were notified. Royal Gendarmerie elements from Beni Hodeifa, along with representatives of the local authority and civil protection elements, moved to the scene.
The concerned departments initiated the necessary legal and administrative procedures, before the body of the deceased was transported by hearse to the morgue in Ajdir, pending the completion of death-related procedures.
This incident brings to the forefront the reality of people living alone, and the necessity it imposes to strengthen mechanisms for social monitoring and care, especially for the elderly and individuals who lack a close family environment.
