HIBAPRESS – Ait Baha
Royal Gendarmerie elements in Ait Amira, on the evening of Wednesday, September 30, managed to raid a premises suspected of being used for the manufacture and storage of "Mahia" liquor, in the Toudli neighborhood of the Ait Baha province.
The operation resulted in the seizure of a significant quantity of liquor ready for distribution, along with equipment and tools suspected of being used in the manufacturing and distillation processes, as part of a security intervention targeting the containment of activities related to the promotion of unlicensed alcoholic beverages.
The operation also led to the arrest of two individuals holding Ivorian nationality. They were placed under police custody pending investigation, under the supervision of the competent public prosecution, to uncover the circumstances and details of this activity and identify other potential accomplices.
