The Imi Ouaddar region, north of Agadir, is experiencing a state of mobilization following the disappearance of a foreign tourist at sea, after he went out for a ride on a jet ski, before his whereabouts became unknown under circumstances that have not yet been clarified.
According to the available information, the tourist was accompanied by a woman who was riding another jet ski and managed to return to shore, while her companion disappeared at sea.
Upon being notified of the incident, elements of the Royal Gendarmerie, local authorities, and civil protection services immediately went to the scene, where they began intensive search operations that included the maritime area and the adjacent coastal regions.
The search operations are continuing for the second consecutive day, with the participation of maritime gendarmerie elements and rescue teams, in an attempt to locate the tourist and uncover the circumstances of his disappearance, while his family and acquaintances await the results of the ongoing search and investigation operations.
