The Directorate General of Meteorology expects, for Monday, relatively hot conditions to prevail in the inland plains, the southeast, and the interior of the Souss region, with the formation of tropical clouds that will bring locally significant thundery showers to the southern provinces.
Scattered drops and local thunder are expected in the High and Middle Atlas, as well as dense clouds passing over the Tangier region, Loukkos, Gharb, and the Eastern Rif, where the opportunity is ripe for scattered drops or light rain and local thunder.
The Directorate expects moderate to somewhat strong gusts of wind in the Atlas Mountains, the Tangier region, and the Eastern region.
Temperatures will range between 8 and 14 degrees in the Atlas and Rif Mountains, between 26 and 30 in the Saharan provinces and the interior of the Souss region, and between 15 and 20 degrees in the Eastern region, and will be between 20 and 25 degrees in the rest of the Kingdom's regions.
As for daytime temperatures, they will be decreasing in the southern regions.
The sea will be calm to slightly rough on the Mediterranean coast, the Bou Regreg, and north of Mahdia, and slightly rough to rough south of Mahdia.
