The Royal Gendarmerie elements belonging to the Marrakech Regional Command, in coordination with the commander of the Ait Ourir brigade and the judicial center, managed to arrest three individuals with prior convictions, on suspicion of their involvement in activities related to the promotion of various types of drugs, in the locality of Ait Sidi Daoud, affiliated with the Ait Ourir district.
This operation resulted in the seizure of approximately 3 kilograms of hashish, and close to 100 kilograms of kif in the form of buds, in addition to a quantity of "ma al-hayat" (a local alcoholic beverage), and a sum of money suspected to be proceeds from this activity.
The operation also led to the seizure of three motorcycles suspected of being used in the transportation and promotion of drugs, as well as a number of bladed weapons.
The arrested individuals have been placed under judicial investigation, under the supervision of the competent public prosecution, in order to deepen the investigation and uncover all the circumstances of the case, and to identify other potential involved parties and the extent of this activity, pending the completion of the established legal procedures.
