HIBAPRESS – Ouarzazate
The activities of the 14th edition of the National Ahwash Arts Festival concluded yesterday evening, Saturday, in the city of Ouarzazate. The festival, organized from October 22nd to 24th, was held under the slogan "Ahwash Arts and World Rhythms," with the participation of nearly a thousand artists who presented performances celebrating the richness of Moroccan Amazigh heritage.
The event, organized under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, featured artistic evenings, folklore shows, and training workshops, in addition to honoring prominent figures and young talents, as well as a scientific symposium that discussed the history of Ahwash art and ways to preserve and pass it on to future generations.
The festival sought to valorize this intangible cultural heritage and enhance the cultural and tourist radiance of Ouarzazate, through activities hosted in prominent spaces in the city, including the historic Taourirt Kasbah and the Almohadin Square.
