The Directorate General of Meteorology has announced forecasts of heavy thunderstorms accompanied by hail and gusts of wind in several southern provinces of the Kingdom, starting from today, Monday, until tomorrow, Tuesday.
According to the orange vigilance level warning bulletin, rainfall amounts are expected to range between 50 and 80 mm in the provinces of Boujdour, Oued Ed-Dahab, and Aousserd, while they will range between 30 and 50 mm in Laayoune, Smara, and Tarfaya.
This weather situation, according to the data in the bulletin, begins today, Monday, at 2:00 PM, and continues until Tuesday at 11:00 PM. These forecasts call for caution, especially during travel, in light of the possibility of thunderstorms, strong winds, and hail.
