HIBAPRESS – Salé
Residents of the new Salé city are demanding the provision of small taxis, considering them a means of transportation that would facilitate citizens' mobility between the city's various neighborhoods, administrations, facilities, and public spaces.
A number of residents believe that the absence or limited availability of this type of transportation increases the difficulty of moving within the city, especially for people going to different administrations and facilities, or who need to travel between distant areas within New Salé.
These demands come in light of the need to strengthen local transportation systems in line with the city's expansion and the growing needs of its residents, and to provide close and flexible transportation options that help reach various destinations within the urban area.
The residents call on the responsible authorities to study the possibility of allowing the provision of small taxis in New Salé, or to adopt alternative solutions that ensure easier and smoother mobility, especially for the elderly, families, and individuals who do not have private transportation.
