The Tiznit Communal Council held, on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, the first session of its ordinary October الدوره, in the Grand Meeting Hall. The council members unanimously approved all points on the session's agenda, which pertained to a number of files related to local development, transportation, and social and cultural partnerships.
The approved decisions included the study and approval of the bylaws, shareholders' charter, and contribution to the capital of the local development company "Tiznit El Kebira for Transportation and Mobility." This was alongside partnership agreements with associations focused on entrepreneurship and youth skill development, and the empowerment of youth and women in the cultural and social fields, as well as an amendment annex to the partnership agreement with the Mouloudia Tiznit Volleyball Association.
The council also approved an amendment annex to the partnership agreement with the Friends of the Regional Hospital Center Association in Tiznit, concerning the care of abandoned children in the city, in addition to a draft agreement with the French Institute in Agadir to organize cultural workshops and activities in Tiznit.
In the field of infrastructure, the council approved the amendment of a previous decision related to the acquisition of a plot of land in Bou Taqourt neighborhood to establish Road No. 279 with a width of 15 meters, and Road No. 274 with a width of 20 meters, and a parking area "PA17." It also approved the price determined by the committee responsible for conducting the administrative expertise regarding the plot allocated for the establishment of Road No. 279 and the aforementioned parking area.
