The General Directorate of Meteorology expects to record strong thunderstorms, accompanied by hail and wind gusts, on Friday in several regions of the Kingdom.
The Directorate explained, in an "orange" alert bulletin, that strong thunderstorms (20 to 30 mm) are expected, accompanied by hail and wind gusts, in the provinces and prefectures of Errachidia, Midelt, Boulemane, Guercif, Figuig, and Taourirt, from 9 AM to 4 PM.
The Directorate added that the same phenomenon will be witnessed in the provinces and prefectures of Ifrane, Khénifra, Al Haouz, Chichaoua, Kalaat Sraghna, Tata, Ouarzazate, Taroudant, Tinghir, Zagora, Khouribga, Settat, Essaouira, Marrakech, Rehamna, Youssoufia, Azilal, Beni Mellal, and Fqih Ben Salah, from noon to midnight.
