The national pavilion of the United Arab Emirates continued its activities on the second day of the Marrakech Air Show 2026, hosting a series of business meetings and official visits at the Royal Moroccan Air Force base, amidst continuous interest in Emirati capabilities in the defense, aviation, and space sectors.
The pavilion, organized with support from the UAE Ministry of Defense and the Tawazun Council for Defense Empowerment, and organized by ADNEC Group, a subsidiary of City Events, brings together seven national entities. These include the Ministry of Defense, EDGE Group, Gen 5, Multi Level Group (MLG), Resource Industries, and the "Deraa Alwatan" and "Aljundi" magazines. This unified national platform allows them direct communication with international buyers, sector leaders, government representatives, and military delegations.
The second day witnessed visits from a number of senior officials and leaders from the defense, aviation, and space sectors, within Emirati and international delegations.
During the second day, the pavilion hosted 27 meetings for the participating national entities as part of their discussions with sector representatives and international partners to explore cooperation and business opportunities.
The pavilion also received 980 visitors on the same day, continuing to attract delegations and visitors interested in learning about the capabilities and solutions offered by the participating national entities.
Capital Events, ADNEC Group's events management arm, held 37 meetings during the second day of the Marrakech Air Show. This included 20 meetings to promote the upcoming editions of the International Defense Exhibition "IDEX", the Naval Defense and Security Exhibition "NAVDEX", and their accompanying International Defense Conference in 2027.
The "IDEX" and "NAVDEX 2027" exhibitions will be held from January 25 to 29, 2027, in editions that are set to be the largest in the history of both exhibitions.
Capital Events also held 11 meetings to promote the Unmanned Systems Exhibition "UMEX" 2028, and 6 meetings to promote the International Exhibition for National Security and Resilience "ISNR", reflecting the international interest in Abu Dhabi's specialized events in the defense and security sectors.
The level of interest witnessed at the Marrakech Air Show enhances the international presence of "IDEX", "NAVDEX", and "ISNR" exhibitions. Several exhibitors, sector leaders, and defense industry companies have expressed their interest in participating in future editions of these events.
With two days remaining until the Marrakech Air Show 2026 concludes on October 10th, the UAE's national pavilion continues its meetings and discussions, alongside showcasing the capabilities and solutions offered by the participating national entities.
The Marrakech Air Show is held every two years and has evolved since its inception in 2008 to become a prominent event in the aviation and space sector in Morocco, and a reference meeting point for the civil, military, and space aviation sectors globally.
The UAE pavilion invites visitors of the Marrakech Air Show 2026 to visit them at stands K1 and J3, and to connect with senior leaders, engineers, and specialists from the participating national entities to exchange knowledge and strengthen strategic partnerships.
