Fig.. Development of works on the Tenderara liquefied gas field

The Tinderara natural gas field, located in the Figig region, has seen a new development revealed by the British company Sound Energy, which now holds 20% of the production rights.

According to informed sources, the company is continuing the construction work of a storage tank as part of the small liquefied gas project, as part of its efforts to meet the growing demand in Morocco. Once completed, the height of the tank will reach 22 meters. a capacity of 6,200 cubic meters of liquefied gas.

Production from the Tundara field is expected to begin next year (2025), with a capacity of 100 million cubic meters per year, with plans to increase production to 280 million cubic meters, after connecting the field to the pipeline linking Morocco to Spain.
