HIBAPRESS – Kenitra
The Rabat Administrative Court ruled to deprive Miloud Chelikh of his membership in the Benmansour Communal Council in the Kenitra province, with the resulting legal effects, including the loss of his presidency of the council, based on a lawsuit filed by the National Rally of Independents party.
Chelikh had headed the commune since 2021 in the name of the same party, before contesting the legislative elections of September 23, 2026, as the candidate for the Authenticity and Modernity Party list in the Kenitra constituency, without being able to win a parliamentary seat.
The ruling comes in the context of a dispute related to party affiliation, based on the legal provisions governing membership in communal councils, pending the completion of the legal procedures resulting from the decision.
