The General Directorate of Meteorology expects to record thunderstorms on Sunday in several regions of the Kingdom, with the possibility of local hail, especially in the Atlas Mountains and their adjacent western regions, and the eastern High Plateaus and the Southeast.
The sky is expected to be partly cloudy to sometimes cloudy in the Rif region and the northern and central Atlantic plains, with the possibility of scattered raindrops in some areas.
Low clouds accompanied by fog banks are also expected to form near the Atlantic coasts, especially during the morning and night, while the Saharan provinces will experience moderate to relatively strong gusts of wind, which may lead to local dust.
Minimum temperatures will range between 2 and 8 degrees in the Atlas and Rif Mountains, and between 10 and 15 degrees in the Eastern and Southeast regions, while they will range between 15 and 21 degrees in the rest of the Kingdom's regions.
During the day, temperatures will decrease in the Eastern region, the Middle Atlas, and the Southeast, compared to a slight increase or relative stability in the other regions.
Regarding the sea state, the sea will be calm to slightly rough on the Mediterranean coast, the Strait of Gibraltar, and north of Mahdia, and slightly rough to rough south of Mahdia.
