Royal Gendarmerie elements belonging to the Tamri territorial brigade, north of Agadir, arrested a foreign tourist in the Imsouane center, on suspicion of involvement in the unlicensed promotion of alcoholic beverages, operating from a caravan they were using in the area.
This operation came about through coordination on the ground between the local authorities in Imsouane and the Royal Gendarmerie services of the Agadir brigade, as part of efforts to combat illegal activities and enhance monitoring in areas that attract tourist traffic. According to the newspaper's information, the suspect was escorted, along with the caravan he was using, to the Tamri Royal Gendarmerie center to undergo the established legal procedures and to initiate an investigation to determine the circumstances and details of the case, and to verify the nature of the activity attributed to him, under the supervision of the competent public prosecution.
