HIBAPRESS – Khalil Fazzazi
The main meeting hall of the Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab region governorate hosted, on Monday, an institutional meeting that brought together regional officials with a French delegation comprising about 50 heads of companies and economic managers. This meeting was held as part of the "Investment Meetings" activities aimed at strengthening economic partnerships and exploring investment opportunities in the region.
The meeting was chaired by the Secretary-General of the Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab region governorate, Abdelrazzak El Korji, the President of the Regional Council, El Khattat Yanja, and the Director-General of the Regional Investment Center, Faisal Sehmani, in the presence of a number of actors interested in developing economic relations between Morocco and France.
The meeting provided an opportunity to showcase the economic and developmental potentials that the Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab region possesses. El Khattat Yanja presented an overview of the structuring projects underway in the region, the available investment opportunities in several sectors, as well as the mechanisms for supporting foreign investors and encouraging them to launch projects in the area.
This economic rendezvous also offered a chance to highlight the attributes that make the region a promising destination for investment, given its strategic geographical location and the opportunities it presents for enhancing economic exchanges and opening up to African markets.
The organization of this meeting comes within the framework of efforts to attract more French investments and develop the economic partnership between Morocco and France, by encouraging direct communication between public institutions and economic actors, and exploring new areas for cooperation and investment.
The Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab region is counting on strengthening its presence on the national and international economic map, and consolidating its position as an Atlantic economic hub capable of attracting productive projects, contributing to job creation, and supporting the developmental dynamic.
These meetings, if they lead to tangible projects and agreements, will open new horizons for cooperation between Moroccan and French investors, thereby enhancing the region's attractiveness and supporting its integration into regional and international economic exchanges.
