HIBAPRESS – Rabat
A number of social media users have shared a video clip showing a bearded man stopping a child in a public street and reprimanding him over his sister's attire.
The video shows the man speaking to the child about the revealing attire of his sister, who has special needs, which exposes her shoulders. He urged the child to advise her to wear a hijab, which sparked mixed reactions among followers.
The video prompted activists to comment on the boundaries of interfering in others' personal lives and the nature of dealing with children in public spaces. On the other hand, some considered the scene an expression of a stance related to personal convictions.
