The Moroccan National Motorway Company has called on motorway users to exercise caution and plan their journeys in advance, on the occasion of the school holiday which coincides with the weekend. It indicated that the motorway network will witness significant traffic during a number of specified periods.
The company clarified in a press release issued in Rabat on October 15, 2026, that traffic is expected to be notably dense on Friday, October 16, between 3 PM and 10 PM, as well as on Saturday, October 17, from 9 AM to 1 PM.
The same source added that the return period from the holiday will also witness significant traffic, especially on Sunday, October 25, 2026, between 4 PM and 10 PM.
In order to ensure safe and comfortable travel, the company recommended that road users plan their journeys in advance and check real-time traffic conditions by downloading the ADMTRAFIC application, in addition to following weather forecasts and taking necessary precautions when strong winds, rain, or fog are present.
It also stressed the importance of taking a rest break after every two hours of driving, checking tire condition before setting off, and only using the emergency lane in cases of extreme necessity.
Regarding toll payments, the company urged road users to check the remaining balance on the electronic payment device "Jawaz" and recharge it before traveling to avoid any inconveniences during the journey.
The company pointed out the possibility of purchasing or recharging the "Jawaz" device at service area shops located on the motorways, emphasizing that these measures are part of its efforts to improve service quality and provide safe and comfortable travel conditions for users of its network.
