HIBAPRESS – Mohammed Zerrih
The areas surrounding a number of educational institutions in the city of Al-Aroui, Nador province, most notably Ibn Al-Haytham High School, are witnessing a growing state of anxiety among parents and educational staff, as a result of the increasing disregard for road safety associated with motorcycle gatherings.
This phenomenon coincides with peak times and student dismissal, where school vicinities turn into spaces for reckless maneuvers, including wheelies and dangerous stunts, in addition to emitting disturbing noises that disturb the local residents and pose a direct threat to the safety of pedestrians. These developments open the discussion about the effectiveness of preventive measures in front of educational institutions, where the protection of the youth and ensuring their physical safety are supposed to be an absolute priority that does not tolerate any form of negligence or leniency. In this context, voices of local and associative figures in the city have risen, demanding immediate and firm action from the security services, specifically the Al-Aroui Security Commissariat, to put an end to these reckless behaviors that have begun to portend dire consequences.
