HIBAPRESS – A.Sayad / A.Mghbar
The atmosphere of competition continues among 18 troupes participating in the Grand Prize of His Majesty King Mohammed VI for Traditional Equestrian Arts, as part of the 17th edition of the El Jadida Horse Show. The performances attract the attention of visitors and combine the skills of the riders, the beauty of the horses, and the authenticity of Moroccan heritage.
The participating troupes present equestrian displays that rely on harmony among the riders, the regularity of the ranks, control over the horses, and the precision of firing gunpowder shots collectively, in scenes that add a special touch of suspense and excitement to the competitions.
The performances are subject to precise scoring criteria, including the consistency of movements, the synchronization of shots, the quality of traditional costumes, saddles, and equipment, as well as the extent of control over the horses. This makes achieving the top rankings dependent on precision, focus, and coordination among the members of each troupe.
The competitions witness interaction from the audience, who follow the various performances with interest, in an atmosphere that combines entertainment and competition, reflecting the position that Tbourida holds within Moroccan cultural heritage.
The Grand Prize competitions continue in anticipation of the decisive stages that will determine the winning troupes, coinciding with the continuation of the El Jadida Horse Show's activities.
