Following the decision to dismiss the Istiqlal leader Madiha Khabir, at the request of the current Minister of Government, Fatim-Zahra Mansouri, the name of the young political and union leader, the Istiqlal party inspector in Settat, Dr. Othman Salloumi, has emerged as a contender to fill the vacant position at the head of the Ministry Delegate to the Minister of National Education, Primary Education, Vocational Training, and Qualification, responsible for vocational training and qualification. Social media sites were flooded by unionist and political activists who proposed the man's name on the list of suggested candidates.
Dr. and Professor Othman Salloumi is considered one of the prominent figures close to the national party and union leadership, due to his communication, academic, and scientific competencies. He currently holds the position of a secondary preparatory education teacher and holds a PhD in Public Law, specializing in tax sciences, with a very distinguished grade. He also holds the position of Istiqlal party inspector in Settat.
He is also considered one of the national union leaders who has defended, and continues to defend, various issues concerning male and female educators from his responsible position as the regional secretary of the General Union of Moroccan Workers and as a member of the Executive Committee of the Istiqlal Party. Furthermore, he has accumulated several experiences in representing his Free Education Union nationally and internationally.
The supporters of the General Union of Moroccan Workers, especially in the Settat region, have called on the Secretary-General of the Istiqlal Party to promote and encourage such young talents to assume positions of responsibility, especially since the man possesses several qualities, including integrity and scientific competence, and is imbued with the ideology of the Istiqlal Party, which qualifies him to bear responsibility within the education sector. Will the Secretary-General of the Istiqlal Party, Nizar Baraka, respond to this proposal and present this young man from the Chaouia region to assume the position of delegate to the Minister of National Education, Primary Education, Vocational Training, and Qualification, responsible for vocational training and qualification?
