According to the testimony of several residents, the case concerns the owners of several market gardens in Berrechid who resort to fertilizing their land with poultry waste, which means that the smell of this waste reaches the city center, especially in the hot summer.

While the authorities of Berrechid preferred to remain silent and not act, the residents demanded that immediate measures be taken to stop the bleeding, especially since a number of the city’s residents suffer from respiratory and chronic diseases, and the stench emanating from these neighborhoods is causing their health condition to worsen.
