A traffic accident that occurred yesterday Thursday led local authorities and the Royal Gendarmerie in the province of Essaouira to discover a significant quantity of drugs.
According to a local source, the details of the incident were due to the overturning of a large truck near the Abaru roundabout, Ounagha commune, Essaouira province, before members of the local authority discovered that it was loaded with approximately 242 packages of Shera drug goods.
The same source added that the local authorities mobilized their various members who arrived at the scene to seize the drugs, as well as to reveal the identity of their owners, stressing that the driver and his companions fled after the accident.
