During last night and today, the city of Imzouren in the Al Hoceima province witnessed field interventions to rescue a number of people who found themselves trapped inside their homes, after heavy rainfall led to a rise in water levels and inundated a number of streets and pathways in one of the city's neighborhoods.
The situation mobilized the relevant authorities, who commenced intervention operations to extract the trapped individuals and ensure their safety, amidst water accumulations witnessed in several locations as a result of the heavy rains.
These interventions come in the context of difficult weather conditions experienced by the city of Imzouren and a number of areas in the Al Hoceima province, coinciding with significant rainfall that raised water levels in some low-lying areas, particularly in locations facing difficulties in draining rainwater.
Specialized authorities continue monitoring and intervention operations according to the developments of the field situation, while the call for caution and vigilance remains, especially when traveling through areas with water accumulations or rising water levels.
