Here is the weather forecast established by the General Directorate of National Meteorology for today, Sunday, August 18, 2024:
– Temperatures continue to rise with hot weather on the plains of Tadla, R’hamna, Saiss, Gharb, Oulmes, the South-East and in the interior of the Saharan Provinces.
– Fairly dense low clouds in the morning and night on the Atlantic coasts and the West of the Mediterranean with fog formations in places.
– Cumuliform clouds over the Middle Atlas and its eastern slopes with some showers and storms possible.
– Clear to partly cloudy weather elsewhere.
– Local dust removal in the Saharan regions.
– Fairly strong gusts of wind in the Tangier region and the South.
– Minimum temperatures of around 24/30°C in the Gharb, the Saiss, the interior of the Souss, the Plains to the West of the Atlas, the extreme South of the country and the South-East, 10/16°C in the Rif, the Oriental and the High and Middle Atlas and 17/23°C in the rest of the country.
– Slightly rough seas in the Mediterranean, slightly rough to rough in the Strait and along the Atlantic coast
