Work to widen the road between Casablanca and Dar Bouazza continues, with the construction of 4 underground passages

Work to widen the road between Casablanca and Dar Bouazza is progressing rapidly, with teams of workers currently engaged in excavation operations for the construction of four tunnels to ease traffic in the area.
Ongoing works include the widening of the Azemmour road (RR 320) from two to three lanes, as well as the construction of underground tunnels at the intersections of the southwest ring road of Azemmour, Sidi Khedir and the Azemmour road, as well as the parallel axis of the southwest ring road of the Azemmour road.

The Casablanca Aménagement company estimated the total cost of this project at 511 million dirhams, while the completion time was set at 22 months. These projects will help alleviate traffic problems encountered in the greater Casablanca metropolitan area.
