HIBAPRESS – Agadir
Construction has begun in Agadir to rebuild the "Madanib" stadium in the Tikkiouine area, a move that reflects a clear direction towards strengthening sports infrastructure and raising the city's readiness to host football competitions in modern conditions.
The project is not limited to repairing an existing facility, but includes the completion of an integrated sports complex that extends over about 15 hectares, with a capacity of approximately 15,000 spectators, and at a cost of about 300 million dirhams, with equipment that meets the standards of the International Federation of Football and the African Football Confederation, including covered stands, media and technical facilities, and spaces prepared for people with special needs, with the works to be completed within a year.
This project is expected to give a strong boost to local clubs, especially Hassania Agadir and Olympique Dcheira, by providing a modern space for competition and training, which contributes to improving the quality of football practice and expanding the sports offering in the city. This project also reflects a strategic investment in the future of football in Agadir, and support for the aspirations of rising talents and enhancing the city's presence on the national sports map.
