2030 World Cup and real estate: the state has put in place a legislative mechanism to meet all expectations

HIBAPRESS-RABAT

In order to align with the rise in real estate in anticipation of the 2030 World Cup, especially alternative accommodation methods, the State has put in place a legislative mechanism to meet the expectations of tourists and other passing spectators, but which ensures that the new options meet safety and quality standards.

This legislative anticipation is essential for the future of the real estate sector in a context where new forms of tourist and rental housing are gaining momentum.

Morocco is therefore asserting itself not only as a major international pole of attraction, but is also proving to be a dynamic real estate market, offering varied opportunities for investors, which is likely to have a lasting impact on its economy.

Also, the sector could generate up to 120 billion Dirhams in revenue in 2030, thanks to increased reception capacity, targeting tourist attendance of 17.5 million visitors in 2026 alone.
