The latest rains brought 25.5 Mm3 of water to the Mansour Eddahbi dam

The total volume of water received by the Mansour Eddahbi dam in the Drâa-Oued Noun Hydraulic Basin, following the latest rainfall, is estimated at 25.5 million m3 as of August 26, indicates the Drâa-Oued Noun Hydraulic Basin Agency (ABHDON).

These rains brought the total volume stored at the dam to more than 57.81 million m3, i.e. a filling rate of 13.49%, the Agency specifies in a note on recent rainfall events.

The other dams falling within the ABHDON action zone, namely the Moulay Ali Cherif and Agdez dams, have reached a water retention volume of 41.41 million m3 and 32.16 million m3 respectively, the Agency details.

The recent rainfall recorded from August 23 to 26 in the south-east of the Kingdom was beneficial for the dams and water reservoirs in the region, particularly in the provinces of Ouarzazate, Errachidia, Tinghir and Midelt.
