In figures: high prices for food production, clothing and electrical appliances

The High Commission for Planning indicated that the indicative figure for production prices in the “manufacturing industries excluding oil refining” sector recorded an increase of 0.2% during the month of July 2024 compared to the previous month.

In its latest information note on the indicative figure for prices in industrial, energy and mineral production, the Delegation explained that this increase resulted in particular from a price increase of 0.5 per cent in the “food industries” and 0.9 per cent in the “mining industries” and 0.8 per cent in the “textile industry”, 0.3 per cent in the “clothing industry” and 0.1 per cent in the “manufacture of electrical appliances”, as well as a price decrease of 0.4 per cent in the “manufacturing products” sector. Other non-metallic products.

Regarding the indicative figures for production prices for the sectors of “extractive industries”, “production and distribution of electricity” and “production and distribution of water”, they remained stable during the month of July 2024.
