Former Ismaili Club President Arrested
Businessman and former chairman of the Ismaili Club, Yahya Al-Koumi, was arrested for evading several court decisions issued against him, while he was arrested by the Department for Investigation into the Execution of Judgments in the Sheikh Zayed region.
Initial investigations revealed that Al-Koumi was fleeing court orders and was arrested at a villa on a farm he owns on the Cairo-Alexandria desert road.
According to the Egyptian Interior Ministry’s statement, security forces from the Department of Investigation of the Execution of Judgments and the Sheikh Zayed Police Department intervened and arrested the former club president. When he was confronted with the judgments issued against him, he admitted them and was taken to the police and a detailed report was drawn up.
