Taima’s Son: One Person Killed in Road Accident

A person in his fifties was killed yesterday, Friday, August 30, after being involved in a horrific road accident on the departmental road linking Ain Sedak and the blind community in the suburbs of Ould Taima, Taroudant province.

Local sources reported that the deceased, who was from Ain Sadaq roundabout and worked as a day laborer in the parking lot, was trying to cross the road before being hit by a light car that was traveling at high speed, causing his immediate death.

Immediately after being informed of the incident, local authorities and members of the Royal Gendarmerie and Civil Defense went to the scene, before the deceased was transferred to the morgue of the local hospital in Oulad Taima.

At the same time, the Royal Gendarmerie has opened an investigation into this incident, under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office, in order to discover the circumstances of this incident and establish responsibilities.
