The General Directorate of Meteorology indicated that very strong local storms will affect, Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 September, the prefectures and provinces of Azilal, Midelt, Tinghir, Errachidia, Zagora, Ouarzazate, Tata and Taroudant.
The management explained in a tribal bulletin that the total rainfall from the storm could exceed 50 mm in 24 hours.
She added that this tribal bulletin will be followed by warning bulletins with more details on the amount of precipitation and its geographic and temporal extent.
